Monalisa Sagar

Womennovator Monalisa was born in the town of Bastar, Chattisgarh. Her family comprises of her parents and two siblings. She lost her father when she was just a child. Her mother got married at a very early age of 15, after which she continued her further studies. With a very less salary of Rs. 200, they could barely afford two meals a day. She along with her family shifted to Bengal and aspired to become a botanist. However, as she grew she decided to study commerce in Jamshedpur. She fled home to follow her dreams, as she has always been a rebellious one. She remembers one cold winter night when she came to Delhi with Rs. 2000; that was the coldest winters Delhi had ever seen. That day she rented a raincoat from her first salary Rs. 4000/month. She also remembers sleeping on the floor without a jacket that night. As hard-work always pays off, Monalisa was handling Pan-India operations after 4 years. After that, she has skyrocketed herself into the land of entrepreneurs. Struggles, failures and a lot of successful times, were part of her journey. She started her own venture, along with her friend. She met with an accident too, during her struggling times. She was in bed for straight six months and had to borrow money from one of her clients to pay for her surgeries. But all this was like stepping stones to success for her. Presently, her company is growing and evolving amazingly. Her brand is one of the leading ones, with about 3 branches in different states and she has also worked with leading Fortune 500 companies too.
