The journey is fascinating! When I started publishing sexual awareness narratives, I did not anticipate the mammoth response I’ll receive. It is a sad fact that in one of the most populous countries of the world, sex is not talked about, rather sexual urges and desires are repressed and suppressed. I faced a lot of stalking from men who thought that a woman talking about sex will be easily available. It was unfortunate to know that sex, a sensual experience has been degraded to a conquest against women. But despite the stalked for sexual favours, I stayed undeterred. My difficult journey had been made easier by my users who have been able to enlighten themselves about muddled subjects in sexuality, foreplay, orgasm, erogenous zones, self-pleasuring etc. I also delve on contentious topics such as monogamy, desire, polyamory, masturbation and try to create awareness through personalizing these stories. Initially I started out alone but now with time I have been joined by a group of volunteers who help me in different functions of the startup out of sheer motivation. My initiative RedWomb - RedWomb is a platform for discussing, debating, and sharing uninhibited, vulnerable, and pleasurable sexual and emotional experiences in man-woman relationships. RedWomb seeks to bring more clarity and awareness on the creative force behind sex, unshackling it from prejudiced view of being dirty and tabooed. It is highly important to have a personal debate and discussion on a silenced yet vital topic of sex for it will bring more clarity around the subject and allow men and women to relish the joys of lovemaking with empowerment.
