Sajida Nadeem, proud mother of two sons, is an inspiration, a self-made woman, her journey has been tough, but she has come out stronger. She got married to an enthusiastic and socially active man, Nadeem Raja, who thought of starting his own NGO so that he could reach more people in distress. Sajida, supported her husband with the realization of his dreams against all odds and as well as knit team, they registered their NGO as Dr. Zakir Hussain Foundation in 2004. No funds, limited team, she tirelessly worked and managed both personal and professional life. She did this without shame to do everything from seeking donation to pasting posters of the event they organized. To uplift their Foundation, they tried to help the society with medical aid, health camps, blood donation camps, organizing seminars of socially vibrant issues and promoting education. The Foundation asked for highest magnitude of dedication, devotion, commitment and whole lot of sacrifice, which she and her husband relentlessly did. For seventeen years now, Sajida has been actively working for the welfare of society through Dr. Zakir Hussain Foundation as Founder Director and has done exemplary social service aiding and benefiting thousands of people. The Foundation new even runs a Charitable Ambulance facility, Sewing Training Centre, A Coaching & Guidance Centre. Her focus is on health, education and women empowerment.
She has been invited many times by print and electronic media and received many honors and awards for her outstanding social contributions and achievements.
