Womennovator Sneha Routray inspires by her tremendous story of victory over the most dreaded aspect of cancer. An Architect by profession and founder of an Architectural and Interior Designing firm called Design Aspects, Sneha’s life suddenly went downhill when she was diagnosed with cancer. Doctors had advised her to go to Mumbai for a surgery and there began the biggest battle of her life at just the age of 30. Even though from there it was a fight for survival she was never ready to back off without a fight. She got the surgery done and then shifted back-back to Delhi for her daughter’s education and also to take her business further. Along with supporting her daughter she slowly started to work on improving her health and building her physical and mental stamina. Now, a winner her mission is to work towards the making of a cancer-free India. She has been actively working towards reducing the cases of cancer deaths through awareness programmes along with which she also aims to provide a dignified life for cancer survivors. Her works have included imparting basic education, language and life skills to the underprivileged in Bihar, Odisha, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Delhi-NCR region. As the President of “Grameen Sneh Foundation”, a national level NGO which primarily works in the health sector she is actively involved in many activities of the foundation “GSF” on Cancer Awareness like HAUSLA- FIGHT AGAINST CANCER in different cities, Regular Cancer & Health check-up camps in rural & semi-urban areas, E-symposium that is an Online Cancer Campaigns, and Health & Wellness Festivals etc. She has been recognized for her immeasurable stupendous work and has been felicitated with the ICON of BIHAR on Women Empowerment from Hon’ble Chief Minister of Bihar Shree Nitish Kumar and acknowledgement of contribution in the field of health from Social Reforms & Research Organization (SRRO), New Delhi.
