Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Gulati

Womennovator Dr. Gagandeep Kaur Gulati has always been oriented and devoted towards medical. She did her Ph.D. after her marriage from the prestigious University Business School at the Punjab University of Chandigarh. While she was pursuing her education, she became mother of two childrens. This period became struggling time for her as she had to responsibly handle her tuitions, college and biggest responsibility of being a mother. She would wake up at 4 am every morning and prepare food and send her kids to school before leaving for college herself. It was a tedious job which propelled her to leave her medical career.However, her mother persisted and supported her all throughout and encouraged her that finally made her to complete her of Doctorate. Her tremendous efforts has made her a professor at Institute of Information Technology and Management at New Delhi along with which she handles various profiles apart from teaching the graduate and postgraduate students. She is the Programme Director for the BBA course and coordinates the Management Symposium, Debates, MUN etc in the college. She is addressed as ‘Maa’ and not Ma’am by her students, which reflects her affection towards the students and knowledge she imparts. Her sole mission is to empower women to increase their participation in all the creative spheres of life. She opines everyone to dream bigger in order to achieve bigger dreams.
