Womennovator Manju Rathi, since her childhood, faced the hardship of being a girl child in an orthodox family that favored boys. From her early days, she faced the wrath of her family for being a girl. However, this never got her off her feet. Even though she felt unloved from the beginning of her childhood, she dared to stand for the love of her life when her father objected to her marrying a person from a different caste. However, her married life didn’t pan out as she had imagined. But, the woman of substance Manju has always been, she became stronger by the day. She realized that there must be several such women like her who face situations like these every day. Hence, she wanted to do something for these women and didn’t want them to go through what she had already faced. Hence, she initiated a club named ‘WOW’ which stood for Wonderland of Women. This gave her satisfaction and serendipity and she started another group called ‘Be Happy’. Along with this she even started taking free sessions for others who wanted a balance and happiness in their lives despite being in adverse conditions. All of these initiatives saw the great response and gave her strength to be bolder and better. Today her sessions are changing the lives of many. Her story is truly an inspiration that guides everyone to be bold in grave circumstances.
